Mouse Melon, (Melothria scabra, Cucamelon)

The fruits have a marked taste of cucumber with a note of acidity. A crunchy addition to salads, salsas and marinades. It explodes under the tooth! These little things that look like miniature melons are native to Mexico and Central America! But they are, in fact… cucumbers!
